April 18, 2011Leicester, Mass. – Becker College swept a doubleheader in softball action today over New England Collegiate Conference rival Southern Vermont 9-5 and 12-4. Sophomore catcher Larissa Paula led the Hawks going a combined 5 for 8 with 4 RBI’s in the games. -
SVC Loses Heartbreakers to Wheelock
April 17, 2011CHESTNUT HILL, MA - Wheelock College swept past Southern Vermont College with a pair of one-run New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) softball victories on Sunday, 3-2 and 9-8, at Pine Manor College's softball field. The Wildcats snapped a six-game losing streak in improving to 4-8 overall and 2-4 in the league, while the Mountaineers are now 0-22 and 0-10. -
Softball Falls to Daniel Webster
April 16, 2011NASHUA, N.H. – Junior Amy Waller went 5 for 5 with two doubles and two RBI in game one and added a two-run triple in game two and the Daniel Webster softball team combined for 32 hits on the way to a 15-13 and 11-1 sweep of Southern Vermont College in a pair of New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) matchups Saturday at a frigid Eagle Field. -

March 26, 2011LYNN, Mass. – The Softball team traveled to Fisher College for a doubleheader but only played five innings in game 1 before the umpires ruled the field unsafe to play on. SVC was defeated by Fisher 6-4 on a muddy field. Fisher College improved to 1-13 while SVC fell to 0-6. -

Softball Gears Up for Fall Ball Against Cobleskill & Herkimer
October 01, 2010BENNINGTON, Vt. - The Southern Vermont softball team will be wrapping up its Fall season this Sunday, October 3rd, at Willow Park in Bennington, VT. The Mountaineers will be hosting SUNY Cobleskill and Herkimer CC in a tripleheader day. Game 1 will feature SVC vs. SUNY Cobleskill at 12:00 p.m. Game 2 will be SUNY Cobleskill vs. Herkimer CC at 2:00 p.m. The day will be concluded by SVC and Herkimer CC at 4:00 p.m.
