BENNINGTON, Vt. - The Southern Vermont softball team will be wrapping up its Fall season this Sunday, October 3rd, at Willow Park in Bennington, VT.

The Mountaineers will be hosting SUNY Cobleskill and Herkimer CC in a tripleheader day. Game 1 will feature SVC vs. SUNY Cobleskill at 12:00 p.m. Game 2 will be SUNY Cobleskill vs. Herkimer CC at 2:00 p.m. The day will be concluded by SVC and Herkimer CC at 4:00 p.m.

“I am really excited for the opportunity to see what our team can do in a game atmosphere,” said Head Coach Leanne Baker. “The ladies have been working hard this Fall and it will be good to see how far along they have come in four short weeks.”

The Mountaineers will be featuring nine returners and five freshmen. The full roster for the games is as follows:

“We are expecting good weather for Sunday and a decent crowd to support all three teams,” added Baker. “The games will definitely measure what we need to work on before our trip to Myrtle Beach in the Spring.”
