May 29, 2013Receiving a chance to relive his glory days on the diamond, Southern Vermont College assistant baseball coach Robby Hisert was selected to play in the 2013 Baseball Hall of Fame Classic. Despite not being able to get the game in during this past weekend’s rain storms, it was the third time Hisert had been picked to play in the Classic. -
Corey Armstrong Named All-NECC Honorable Mention
May 07, 2013Southern Vermont College senior first baseman and right-handed pitcher Corey Armstrong has been named as an All-New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Honorable Mention after the 2013 season in which he hit .310 and recorded a .379 on-base percentage. -

Baseball Wins Home-Opener Over Norwich, 7-0
March 27, 2013Southern Vermont College Baseball started its 2013 home schedule with a 7-0 win over Norwich University Wednesday afternoon at Bill Epstein Field. The Mountaineers got run support for freshman right-handed starter Adam Michaud (East Hampton, Conn.) who went 7.2 innings on the mound, allowing no runs on just five hits.
