BENNINGTON, Vt. Southern Vermont College Mens Basketball presents its 2009 Summer Basketball Camps to be conducted Monday, August 10 through Friday, August 17. There will be two camp sessions: 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for boys entering grades 7-9, and 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. for boys entering grades 10-12 with a fee of only $100 for the week.

CHICOPEE, Mass., - Southern Vermont mens basketball captain Joe Karniks (Cambridge, N.Y.) season and career high 34 points and a team season high 88 points was not enough to stifle the offensive blast of NECC leader Elms College Saturday at Maguire Center as they fell 123-88. ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Southern Vermont College freshman guard Jaret Falkowitz (Scotia, N.Y.) led the Mountaineers in a tough 80-75 NECC loss to Wheelock. Falkowitz returned to the court after sitting most of the first semester due to injury.

used a decisive second-half run to defeat host Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute on Thursday, 75-73. SVC entered the game 2-12 all-time
against RPI, and had never won at Robison Gym.
