Cambridge, MA. – Behind a season-high 17 service aces, the nationally-ranked No. 14 MIT men’s volleyball team went on to record a 30-18, 30-10, 30-10 victory over Southern Vermont College in a North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) New England Division match on Thursday.

CHICOPEE, MA., Feb. 16, 2008 – Elms College freshman middle blocker Curt Despard (Enfield, CT) hammered down a match high 18 kills on 23 attempts to lead the Blazers in a decisive 3-0 (30-17, 30-10, 30-14) win over Southern Vermont in Saturday afternoon’s North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) New England Division men’s volleyball match at the Maguire Center.
Endicott College held Southern Vermont to a total of 25 points (8.3 points per game average), as the Gulls cruised past the visiting Mountaineers, 3-0, in a North East Collegiate Volleyball Association contest in Beverly, Massachusetts.
