Ashley Hodges Named SVC Assistant Director of Athletics as College Awarded with NCAA Strategic Alliance Matching Grant
June 01, 2016Southern Vermont College Director of Athletics Michael McDonough announced on June 1 the naming of Ashley Hodges as the new Assistant Director of Athletics for SVC, as the College was one of 26 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III members to be awarded with the Association’s diversity grants for the 2016-17 academic year.

Greg Gilmore '12 Appointed as SVC Head Men's Soccer Coach
May 26, 2016Southern Vermont College Director of Athletics Michael McDonough announced on Thursday the appointment of Greg Gilmore as the head men’s soccer coach, the 2012 SVC graduate returning to Bennington to become the program’s 18th leader.

NCAA Tournament a Family Affair for SVC Men's Basketball
March 09, 2016For many athletic squads, from junior levels to the pros, teams identify themselves as a ‘family.’ This classification is certainly the case of the Southern Vermont College men’s basketball team, a crew of self-proclaimed “WRECKAGE” that bonded well as it formed into the dominate force on the court that it proved to be by winning the 2016 New England Collegiate Conference Championship and moving on to play under the bright lights in the NCAA Division III tournament.
