NASHUA, N.H. - The Southern Vermont College men’s volleyball team played solid ball coming up short against Lesley University 3-1 and Daniel Webster College, 3-0 as part of a New England Collegiate Conference and NECVA New England Divisional tri-match Sunday at Mario Vagge Gymnasium.

In the midday matchup, Scott Wheeler notched a match high 17 kills and added 10 digs, while Christian Domingo added seven kills and Stephen Siragusa hit for six kills with 37 assists and seven digs as the Lynx posted a 30-17, 23-30, 30-21, 30-18 victory.
Matt Sullivan and Zach Almeida-Beers each notched 13 digs, while Nick Assad also chipped in with six kills.
Matt Schwab paced the Mountaineers (1-18, 0-8 NECC, 1-15 NECVA) with 16 kills, while Jullien Amaral added 11 kills and 16 digs. Cam Herrington chipped in with eight kills for SVC, while Neel Patel dished out 35 assists.

In the nightcap, Shannon again paced the Eagle attack with 17 kills and hit .263 adding a team high nine digs as DWC posted a 30-18, 30-28, 30-22 sweep.
Smith added another double double of 12 kills and 15 assists chipping in with seven digs, while Andrew Smith and Miller added four kills. Clement dished out 16 assists and added eight digs.
Amaral led the Mountaineers with 14 kills and 11 digs, while Schwab knocked down five kills and Patel finished with 22 assists and four kills.
