NEW LONDON, Conn. — Southern Vermont College fell 7-0 Saturday afternoon, losing at Mitchell College in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) men's soccer action.

The hosting Mariners put up five goals in the first half, one on a penalty kick, and they added two more in the closing 45 minutes for the league victory.

Southern Vermont (1-9, 0-2 NECC) now turns to a Tuesday non-conference matchup, kicking off at 4 p.m. at SUNY Cobleskill.

Mountaineer freshman Anthony Dominguez (Los Angeles, Calif.) led the team with three shots in the effort while classmate Noah Chani (Hoosick Falls, N.Y.) made three saves in net for SVC.
