PLAYER OF THE WEEK — Southern Vermont College sophomore guard Derrick Cenicola (Hamilton, N.Y.) led the Mountaineers to an 84-69 victory over NECC opponent Daniel Webster College, scoring 23 points, 18 of which came from three-pointers.

With the win, Southern Vermont improved to 2-1 in conference play.

Cenicola also averaged 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 4.0 steals per game. For the week, he shot 44% (7-for-16) from the field, a sizzling 55% (6-for-11) from downtown and 75% (3-for-4) from the charity stripe.
