Cody was awarded the 2012 Most Valuable Player for SVC Baseball and named to the All-New England Collegiate Conference Second Team; he was also selected as the NECC Rookie of the Week once. His favorite thing about SVC is the coaching staff and the professors. His favorite athlete is Robinson Cano, and his favorite team is the New York Yankees. Cody plans to be a baseball coach after college.

2012: As a freshman, led the team with a .366 average in 34 games played.  With 66 RBIs, 13 doubles, three triples and two homeruns, Cody was named to the All-NECC Second Team.  He was 8-9 on stolen base attempts and finished with a team-high .589 slugging percentage.
