2011: As the setup man had a team best 2.30 ERA and went 3-1 on the mound. Joel appeared in 11 games out of the bullpen. He earned his first collegiate win on March 9th against Dakota Wesleyan and his first save against Daniel Webster on March 26th.

2010: As a freshman only pitched in four games. However, made his presence at the plate earning the team Rookie of the Year award.
