BENNINGTON, Vt. – For the second time in the 2013 season, Southern Vermont College senior Carrie Baltazar (Whittier, Calif.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Women's Volleyball Player of the Week, this time for the week ending November 3, 2013.

Baltazar had a great week for the Mountaineers, helping the team to its third-straight NECC title over the weekend. The senior was named the NECC All-Tournament MVP, also helping out defensively with 3.22 digs per set and seven service aces.

Southern Vermont awaits the NCAA selection show on Sunday, November 10 which will let the Mountaineers know which regional tournament they will be in and against whom they will be facing.
