BENNINGTON, Vt. – The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) has named Southern Vermont College junior Jessica Delgado (Los Angeles, Calif.)the Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending September 29, 2013.

Delgado helped Southern Vermont to a 3-2 victory over Regis College in a rematch of last year's NECC championship game. She recorded a match-high 26 kills and also had 22 digs, a solo and assisted block, and two service aces against the Pride. On the week, the junior averaged 4.12 kills and 3.88 digs per set.

The Mountaineers continue the NECC schedule Tuesday with a home match at 7 p.m. against Elms College.
