COBLESKILL, N.Y. - The Southern Vermont College women's volleyball team lost in a non-conference match 3-0 to SUNY Cobleskill on the road Tuesday night. Serve receive errors bring down the Mountaineers as they fell to 1-8 overall while the Tigers improved to 4-4 with the win.
SVC was led by Kayleigh Moretto who had two kills and two blocks and Tasha Smith who had two kills and one block. Southern Vermont struggled with its attack hitting in the negative for the night.
The Tigers were led by Margaret Trombly who had eight kills and Samantha Burkart who had 16 assists.
The Mountaineers look to find the win column this weekend, Saturday, Oct. 3rd as they travel to Bay Path for an NECC tri-match against the Wildcats and the Becker Hawks. The matches are at 12:00 p.m. against Bay Path and 2:00 p.m. against Becker.
