BENNINGTON, Vt. – Abby Riedel named NECC Rookie of the Week for the first time.

Riedel registered 13.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game helping the Mountaineers to a 1-1 week including upsetting NECC rival Lesley 59-57. Riedel nailed a double double in a tough 65-64 overtime loss to Bard scoring 13 points and bringing down 12 boards. For the week, she shot 40% (8-for-20) from the field and 79% (11-for-14) from the stripe.
