Alyssa Davis is in her first year as an assistant for the Mountaineers after playing for four seasons at SVC. For her career, Davis hit .420 in 84 games, good enough for second in the all-time SVC record book; she also had the second-best single-season average for a Mountaineer when she hit .488 in 2011.

Her .420 career on base percentage ranks highest for an SVC player, and her .539 OBP in 2011 also sits at number one. Her hit totals in 2011 (39) and 2010 (30) are second and fourth, respectively, for a Mountaineer in a single season. Davis finished her career with 97 hits, one shy of the all-time career record for SVC.

Davis ranks first all-time for runs scored with 68 and sits at second for the most home runs with 10. She also sits at second for the most RBI's by a Mountaineer with 43 during her time in an SVC uniform.

Coach Davis also played women's basketball for four seasons at SVC and put her name in that record book as well. She ranks second for career assists with 148 and is first for the most 3-pointers by a Mountaineer with 138, 74 more than the player behind her.

She was the recipient of the Scott McKenzie Sports Person of the Year Award in both 2010 and 2011.
