ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Southern Vermont's Anthony Barahona was named NECC Rookie of the Week for the first time this season.

Freshman outside hitter Anthony Barahona helped the Mountaineers to a 1-1 week defeating Regis 3-0 and narrowly falling to NECC opponent Daniel Webster 3-2. Barahona averaged 3.75 kills per game and 3.12 digs per set. He hit .348 tallying 40 kills. He chipped in four assists, three service aces and three blocks.
