CHICOPEE, Mass. - Southern Vermont College was outplayed in NECC / NECVA play Monday night as Elms College swept the Mountaineers 3-0 (30-5, 30-7, 30-7).

Elms College (7-7 overall, 5-2 NECVA, 3-1 NECC) extended its win streak to five straight, while Southern Vermont remained winless at 0-7 (0-7 NECVA, 0-4 NECC).

Sophomore outside hitter Aaron Eschler (Gloversville, N.Y.) registered three kills for the Mountaineers in the loss.

Sophomore outside hitter Carlos DeLeon-Gomez scored six kills, freshman outside hitter Sequiel Sanchez nailed down five kills and added a match-high five aces.

SVC hosts a NECVA Tri-Match Sunday, February 22, with Daniel Webster College and D'Youville College. Match times are 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. in the SVC Field House.
