One of the schools all time greats Dave Gage was a three year captain of the team from 09-11. Gage's name is seen throughout the SVC record books including tops in OBP, walks, saves and HBP. Gage holds the NCAA single season record for HBP with an eye-popping 32 in his senior season. Gage is a member of the school 100 hits club and was named AD3I second team All-American in 2008 as well as a first team All-Conference member in 2011. Gage has since taken the reigns as the head coach of the SVC baseball team.
