"The boys played a couple of great intense games today, and I am very proud of them," said Coach Schaffer of the more than eventful afternoon.
Corey went 2-for-4 with a two run homer in the first inning for Becker.
In game two the Mountaineers jumped ahead with a three run second inning on an RBI fielder's choice from Pawlak with the bases loaded and two RBI single by Cook.

Becker loaded the bases in the sixth and Weston Meehan smacked a miracle grand slam to right field to give Becker the lead at 5-4. An RBI single by the Hawks in the seventh gave them a 6-4 lead and after holding SVC in the seventh the game.

Wells went 2-for-3 with an RBI and scoring one run. The Hawks were led by Meehan who went 3-for-4 knocking in four and scoring two runs.
"Tim Johnson pitched a solid game and Adam Northup pitched a great first five plus innings and other than a rough inning, deserved a better fate," added Coach Schaffer.
