Adam returns to the Mountaineers for his second season after coming from Richmond, Rhode Island where he played at Chariho Regional High School. Last year, he led the team with 9 doubles and was 2nd on the team in slugging at .438.  The right-hander was also strong on the mound, holding a 1.88 ERA over the last 10 games of the season. The first-year captain stays focused and hard-working in the classroom as well, making President's List and earning the highest GPA for all SVC male athletes in the 2007-2008 school year. The Psychology major is the son of Thomas and Linda Northup.
