Scott McKenzie | Inducted 2013
Scott McKenzie, Class of 2013, was a co-founder of the Southern Vermont College/St.
Joseph’s College Athletics Hall of Fame. McKenzie was inducted to the Hall as the 25th member during the Department of Athletics’ annual awards banquet in April of 2013.
McKenzie served as the head women’s soccer coach from
1992-99 at 
SVC, also helping as an assistant for the men’s soccer
and baseball programs at times. His 1993 women’s soccer team
won the Colonial States Conference Championship, and four of his
teams reached the ten-win plateau (1994, 1996, 1997, 1999).
McKenzie coached eight women’s soccer all-conference selections during his tenure as a coach. He also spent time working for the Office of Admissions and as the department’s sports information director. The Scott McKenzie Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year awards are named in his honor for all the hard work and contributions to students’ success he provided while working at Southern Vermont.
