Charles Beekman | Inducted 2012
Charles Beekman, Class of 2002, was a four-year member of the men’s basketball team and is currently the all-time leading scorer for the Mountaineers. “Beeks” captained the 2001-02 Mountaineers, leading a resurgence of the basketball program by averaging 20.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game and shooting 71.4 percent from the free throw line--second-best all-time. Beekman ended his career scoring 1,770 points and hitting over 225 three-pointers. He was named to the All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference First Team his senior year (2001-02) after having garnered Second-Team honors as a junior.
