Ben Patten, class of 1984, was a multi-sport student-athlete playing soccer, basketball, and baseball. He was the class valedictorian and throughout the years has become known as the “Voice of the Mountaineers” as an announcer for SVC Athletics. Patten has made a name for himself as a radio personality in Albany working for ABC Magic 100.9 FM and even has his own show called “Jay & Ben in the Morning Show”. He also served as the Vice-Chair of the Alumni Association from 1994-1998.
