Joanna Hogue returns to assist Coach Stokes for the second men's season after helping out in 2012; she also assisted the women's program in the fall of 2012. Coach Hogue finished her undergraduate course load in History & Politics this past December and will graduate in May.

Hogue played libero under Stokes for two years at SVC after transferring from Cuesta College in her native California. In 2010 and '11, she was named the New England Collegiate Conference Defensive Player of the Year and helped the Mountaineers to the school's first NECC Championship in her senior season (2011). She was also selected to the All-NECC First Team in 2010.

The former two-year captain is the all-time SVC dig leader with 742. Her 383 (2010) and 359 (2011) single-season dig totals are good enough for second and third, respectively, in the SVC record book.
