BENNINGTON, Vt. – Lance Spratling has been named NECC Player of the Week for the sixth time this season.

Southern Vermont senior guard Lance Spratling  averaged 20.5 points helping the Mountaineers to a 1-1 week including an 82-71 victory over Newbury. Spratling registered 29 points against the Nighthawks. He shot 56% (14-for-25) from the field, a smashing 54% (7-for-13) from behind the arc and 55% (6-for-11) from the charity stripe.

The Men’s Basketball team will be in NECC playoff action tomorrow night at the Mountaineer Athletic Center. The Quarterfinal match against Daniel Webster starts at 7:00 p.m.
