BENNINGTON, Vt. — On February 7, Southern Vermont College Basketball will welcome back former players to the College campus for the annual alumni game following a conference doubleheader against Mitchell College.

That Saturday, the SVC women’s team will take on Mitchell at 1 p.m. with the men’s squad following against the Mariners around 3 p.m. Former Mountaineers, both men and women, will then lace up their sneakers for the alumni game, to be played around 5:30 p.m.

Additionally, the day will serve to induct Nick Harrington to the SVC/St. Joseph College Athletics Hall of Fame. Harrington, a 2008 graduate of Southern Vermont, was elected to the Hall’s Class of 2014. However, he was not able to make the induction ceremony last April during the annual athletics banquet as he was overseas competing for the BBC Greens in Luxembourg. Prior to starting introductions for the men’s game against Mitchell, SVC will welcome Harrington and honor him with his Hall of Fame plaque.
