BENNINGTON, Vt. – Seven Southern Vermont College student-athletes earned their way to the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Academic All-Conference Team for the 2014 spring semester as announced by the league this week.
To be eligible for the conference accolade, students of at least a sophomore class standing must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.40 or higher following the completion of the spring semester. Two sophomores are representing the women’s basketball squad as Marissa Myers (E. Chatham, N.Y.) and Javasha White (Schenectady, N.Y.) both made their way onto their first academic all-conference team.
