Inside the numbers:
Thomas was able to lace up for just her fourth game of the year last Tuesday—making a strong appearance for the Mountaineers in their NECC quarterfinal playoff contest. She played a valuable 15 minutes off the bench and dropped seven points in that time to be the team’s second-leading scorer for the game; she also had two steals and a rebound for SVC. The sophomore went 2-4 on field goal attempts in the first quarter—one basket being a triple—to notch five points and help her squad go back-and-forth with top-seeded New England College.

What Coach Gowan is saying:
“Aliesha was a huge spark for us last week. She brings so much to the floor that doesn't show up in the stat sheet. She battled injuries this year and faced tremendous adversity, but every time she was knocked down, she got right back up. I am so excited about her future at Southern Vermont and to see what she can accomplish during a healthy season!”
