The sophomore registered a 1.125 slugging percentage and .778 on-base percentage for the week, and she helped start a double play from right field. Sheades went 3-3 with a walk, two doubles, three runs scored, and an RBI in the opener, and she then went 3-5 with two doubles, three RBI’s, and two runs scored in game two.
What Coach McDonough is saying: “Tessa has been working hard at practice and it translated as she had a big day in our opener vs. NVU-Lyndon. She stayed confident at the plate and embraced a new challenge in the outfield. I am very proud of her for starting the season off on a high note. I hope to see her to continue to grow as the season unfolds.”
