Inside the numbers: Lara-Mack had a solid weekend at the plate for the Mountaineers as he tallied hits in a pair of SVC’s games including two during a big win at New England College on Sunday. The junior first went 1-2 with a walk, a triple, and an RBI against Becker on Saturday, and he then had a 2-4 showing at the dish in the team’s opener at NEC; against the Pilgrims, the Mountaineer’s hits went for a double and home run—the latter being his third of the year. Lara-Mack chalked up three RBIs in the 11-4 win over New England, and he then scored a run in the backend of the doubleheader to help SVC sweep the Pilgrims. Sunday was just the junior’s second multi-hit game of the season.
