Inside the numbers: Frayer Jr. tied the team-high in points (15) in the Mountaineers’ first-round playoff loss at No. 4 Mitchell on Tuesday. He added four rebounds and a pair of assists while playing almost the whole game—notching 38 minutes on the court. The sophomore went 6-12 from the floor with a 2-4 clip from 3-point range against the eventual league champions. Frayer Jr. reached double figures in the points column in 22 of SVC’s 25 games this year with Tuesday’s performance being the 14th time that he posted at least 15. He finished the season with 385 total points on a 48.8 field goal percentage.
